About ASI

ASI's mission-critical technology powers decision-making across aviation, defense, energy, and other critical infrastructure domains. Backed by top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Spark Capital, and Renegade Partners, ASI delivers operational decision superiority—compressing days of analysis into seconds of action. ASI is leading the way and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

What you will do:

As a Cloud Platform Engineer you will build and operate the cloud infrastructure powering mission-critical aviation systems used in real-world operations. This is a deeply hands-on role where you’ll work directly in production environments, ensuring systems are scalable, resilient, and continuously deployable.

You’ll develop and improve the core infrastructure that engineers rely on every day—shipping infrastructure-as-code, working with Kubernetes-based systems, and contributing to deployment pipelines that enable fast, safe releases. Your work will directly impact system reliability, performance, and uptime in a 24/7 environment.

You will partner closely with backend, product, and platform engineers to deploy services, improve observability, and respond to real production challenges—debugging issues, strengthening system resilience, and continuously raising the bar for reliability. Expect to work on problems like scaling distributed systems, improving release safety, and building automation that reduces operational toil and keeps systems running smoothly.

What we value:

• Strong experience building and operating production-grade cloud infrastructure

• Experience with AWS (preferred) or other cloud providers (GCP, Azure)

• Proficiency with Kubernetes and containerized environments

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm)

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for reliable, frequent production releases

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability

• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)

• Familiarity with production safety practices, including testing, rollout strategies, and rollback mechanisms

• Experience operating and supporting 24/7 production systems

• Ability to contribute to design reviews and architectural decisions

• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across teams in a mission-critical environment

• Exposure to high-availability systems (e.g., “four nines” reliability) is a strong plus

• Proficient in leveraging modern LLM tools to accelerate development workflows and enhance code quality

What we offer:

• Flexible Working Hours: With a global team supporting 24/7 mission-critical operations, we have to be at our best, so we’ve adopted flexible hours to allow for balance.

• Premium Healthcare and Health Insurance: Health and wellness are critical to living a happy and resilient life. We provide first-class medical, dental and vision coverage to you and your dependents.

• Competitive Salary & Equity: Our team is our biggest asset. We value the hard work that each person commits to us, so we provide competitive, transparent compensation packages.

• Generous relocation package to assure smooth relocation to Tricity area.

• High Energy Environment: We live by the mantra that now is better than never. You will find yourself surrounded by peers who constantly challenge the status quo.

• Flexible Time Off: We encourage you to take time off as you need it. While our team is hard-working, our success is measured by output—not time spent.

• Office, Equipment & Tools: We bring the best tools to the mission, from ergonomic desk setups to modern productivity software. We have a freshly prepared team breakfast and lunch every day.

How do we hire:

We look at the interview process not as screening test but rather as an opportunity to simulate what it would look like working together. We build the interview process around you.

ASI works with export controlled technology and restricted U.S. Government data, including on contracts mandating U.S. immigration status and location restrictions for performing personnel. Employment offers are contingent on ability to timely obtain all required authorizations for contemplated job duties.
