Hon. Mark Brantley, Premier of Nevis, reflecting on his academic journey as a scholarship recipient, lauded the durability of the bilateral agreement between Taiwan and St. Kitts and Nevis
“Thirty-seven youngsters are headed off to Taiwan to get an education. It is not just an education it is a free education. I would like to commend the ambassador and government and people of Taiwan for insisting that we, the people of St. Kitts and Nevis, can benefit from their educational institutions and in so doing bring back those skills to St. Kitts and Nevis to aid in our nation’s development.”

The Minister of Education shared words of gratitude to Ambassador Tao and the government and people of Taiwan for their continued commitment to supporting the development of the Federation’s human resources and by extension, our twin island state.
