811 Dig Technician

How You Will Make an Impact: As an 811 Field Technician , you will be crucial to the Dune Express by identifying and creating dig sites along the conveyor system.  This role will work closely with 811 Texas and 811 New Mexico ensuring dig tickets are created and completed within the timeframe allotted. Responsibilities: Locate utilities: Use 811 tickets and locate practices to find underground utilities Mark locations: including markers and paint lines Complete any paperwork related to site in accordance with company guidelines Operating various hand tools Ability to follow standard operating procedures Maintain any locating equipment provided by the company Ability to communicate across all of the company and between companies that may need to cross our lines Answer 811 calls within a certain time frame Ability to clean and prepare sites for digging Ability to work in remote or congested areas Ability to refer to pin drops or maps to locate dig areas Ability to use markings and create the best path for customers needing to pass through Complete other assigned task as requested Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of related experience Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Must be able to pass a DOT physical Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office, creating tickets on the 811 Texas and 811 New Mexico site Strong organizational skills Strong communication skills What You’ll Love About Us: Best People and Great Places to Work , Hire Vets ,Top Place to Work For – Austin American Statesman Your Well-Being is a 100% covered Medical, Dental, and Vision Invest in Your 401K with company match, immediate vesting
