Prepare detailed cost estimates and cost plans, using benchmarking data and market information to support project decision-making. Develop value engineering and life-cycle costing options to improve project efficiency, optimize investment, and evaluate alternative approaches. Identify potential commercial and delivery risks and contribute to maintaining and updating project risk registers. Participate in pre-contract meetings and provide cost, estimating, and commercial insights to project teams and clients. Develop and manage cost control reports, providing visibility into financial performance, forecasts, and project cost movements. Attend client and design team meetings, communicate cost implications, document decisions and actions, and ensure agreed outcomes are reflected in project cost information. Assess design changes and their financial impact, supporting teams in balancing scope, quality, feasibility, and budget. Prepare and maintain change order logs, invoice logs, cost reports, and other project control documentation. Support measurements, pricing research, development appraisals, and qualification reviews. Help establish standardized project templates, processes, and documentation to improve consistency across engagements. Work collaboratively across remote, office, and client-site environments, contributing to effective project delivery and stakeholder relationships. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, or another cost- or construction-focused discipline. At least 2 years of professional experience in cost management or a closely related construction cost discipline. Strong understanding of construction processes, project management techniques, construction methods, materials, and cost management principles. Experience developing estimates, cost plans, bills, or related commercial documentation; advanced CostX proficiency is highly valued. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity with Microsoft Project is also required. Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret cost information and translate it into practical project recommendations. Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate project documentation. Strong communication and collaboration skills, including confidence working with clients, senior colleagues, design teams, and multidisciplinary project stakeholders. Experience working on hyperscale data center projects is a strong advantage. A proactive, structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively in a technology-enabled, fast-moving project environment. Benefits Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year, with actual compensation varying based on location, role, skills, and experience.
