Full job description

You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough." You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built. At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably. You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land. Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

• You’ll participate in business requirements, discovery, and process-design sessions with functional SMEs and business users. • You’ll plan and facilitate collaborative workshops to understand current processes, user needs, pain points, decision points, handoffs, and improvement opportunities. • You’ll create an environment in which business users can actively participate in shaping the future experience. • You’ll ask structured questions that help users move from broad ideas or complaints to clearly defined needs, workflows, and design decisions. • You’ll synthesize information from interviews, workshops, requirements, and process documentation into clear design insights. • You’ll facilitate alignment across business, functional, technical, and delivery stakeholders when needs or priorities differ. • You’ll present concepts clearly and guide stakeholders through design decisions and tradeoffs. Service Design and Workflow Definition • You’ll develop current-state and future-state user journeys for priority AI use cases. • You’ll create service blueprints showing the relationships among users, business processes, technology, data, systems, and supporting teams. • You’ll map end-to-end workflows, including user activities, decisions, approvals, handoffs, exceptions, and system interactions. • You’ll identify friction points, unnecessary process steps, unclear ownership, and opportunities for automation or AI enablement. • You’ll define how users will interact with AI-enabled capabilities, including human review, decision support, escalation, and exception handling. • You’ll develop personas or user profiles when needed to distinguish different roles, needs, behaviors, and levels of system access. • You’ll ensure proposed experiences reflect how work is actually performed within engineering, construction, and capital project environments. UI/UX Design and Prototyping • You’ll translate business processes, user journeys, and workflow requirements into intuitive front-end experiences. • You’ll create information architectures, task flows, sketches, wireframes, screen concepts, and high-fidelity interface designs. • You’ll develop interactive prototypes in Figma for use in design working sessions, stakeholder reviews, and user validation. • You’ll design collaboratively and, where appropriate, in real time with business users. • You’ll rapidly incorporate stakeholder feedback and evolve concepts through iterative design cycles. • You’ll define page layouts, navigation, interactions, forms, dashboards, notifications, prompts, and other user-interface elements. • You’ll design for standard and non-standard scenarios, including empty states, error states, incomplete data, system delays, rejected actions, and process exceptions. • You’ll apply appropriate accessibility, consistency, usability, and responsive-design considerations. • You’ll use existing design systems and component libraries where available, and help establish reusable patterns where needed. AI Experience Design • You’ll design user experiences for AI-enabled use cases in a way that makes the AI understandable, usable, and appropriately integrated into the business process. • You’ll define how users provide input, review AI-generated outputs, validate recommendations, make decisions, and provide feedback. • You’ll incorporate appropriate human-in-the-loop controls and user confirmation points. • You’ll help distinguish where AI should recommend, automate, summarize, flag, or support a decision rather than replace the user. • You’ll work with functional and technical stakeholders to ensure AI experience aligns with business rules, available data, technical capabilities, and governance requirements. • You’ll make complex AI interactions understandable to users who may not have technical backgrounds. Technical and Development Collaboration • You’ll work closely with architects and developers to confirm that proposed designs are technically feasible. • You’ll understand relevant systems, data, integration, security, and platform constraints and incorporate them into the design. • You’ll translate approved designs into build-ready artifacts for the development team. • You’ll provide annotated designs, interaction specifications, component behavior, business rules, and supporting documentation. • You’ll partner with functional SMEs to confirm that designs accurately represent business requirements. • You’ll support the development of user stories, design acceptance criteria, and backlog items where required. • You’ll answer development questions and clarify design intent during solution build. • You’ll conduct design reviews and UX quality checks during development to confirm the implemented solution aligns with the approved experience. • You’ll help resolve design issues without losing the intended user or business outcome. Delivery and Team Contribution • You’ll own assigned design activities and deliverables with limited day-to-day oversight. • You’ll manage design priorities across multiple use cases or concurrent activities. • You’ll maintain clear documentation of design decisions, assumptions, open questions, dependencies, and stakeholder feedback. • You’ll communicate progress, risks, and decisions to Project Leadership. • You’ll collaborate effectively within a lean delivery pod and contribute wherever needed to maintain delivery momentum. • You’ll balance user desirability, business value, technical feasibility, and delivery constraints. • You’ll produce client-ready materials and confidently present designs to both working-level stakeholders and leadership. Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

• 5+ years of experience in UX design, UI design, product design, experience design, service design, or a closely related field • Strong hands-on proficiency with Figma, including wireframing, high-fidelity design, interactive prototyping, components, and collaborative design • Demonstrated experience facilitating discovery sessions, user workshops, workflow discussions, or collaborative design sessions with business stakeholders • Experience translating complex business processes, pain points, and requirements into clear and intuitive user experiences • Demonstrated ability to create user journeys, task flows, workflow diagrams, service blueprints, and interactive prototypes • Experience designing enterprise, operational, workflow-driven, or business-to-business applications • Experience indesign interactively in front of users and incorporate feedback in real time or through rapid iteration • Strong in understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, interaction design, and information architecture • Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Psychology, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience

• Experience supporting energy, utilities, engineering, construction, infrastructure, EPC, or owner/operator organizations • Familiarity with capital project delivery, engineering workflows, construction processes, project controls, supply chain, materials management, quality, or field operations • Experience designing AI-enabled products, copilots, decision-support solutions, intelligent workflows, or automation use cases • Experience with service design methods such as service blueprinting, journey mapping, persona development, ecosystem mapping, and experience measurement • Experience designing complex workflow applications involving approvals, role-based activities, multiple systems, and business exceptions • Familiarity with design systems, reusable component libraries, and enterprise application design standards
