Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Executive based in Australia. Take ownership of strategic sales opportunities across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and help hospitality businesses modernize their operations through innovative hotel technology. In this senior commercial role, you will manage your own sales targets, develop new business, and close high-value deals with hotel owners, general managers, and operational leaders. You will combine deep hospitality knowledge with consultative selling to demonstrate how integrated technology can improve property performance and guest experiences. Working closely with regional sales leadership, marketing, and product teams, you will influence sales strategy and contribute to regional growth. You will also mentor newer sales colleagues and use AI-powered tools to make your sales workflow more effective. This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact in a fast-moving, international, remote-first environment.

Own and consistently achieve sales quotas across your assigned APAC territory, focusing on larger, more strategic opportunities. Manage the full sales cycle, from inbound enquiries and prospect qualification to negotiations and deal closure. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, industry events, roadshows, and inbound leads. Lead consultative and technically informed sales conversations with hotel owners, general managers, operations teams, and revenue professionals. Understand hotel operations, existing technology ecosystems, and commercial priorities to position solutions around customers’ specific business needs. Clearly communicate the value of integrated hotel technology and demonstrate how it can improve operational efficiency and guest experiences. Use AI tools for account research, call preparation, proposal drafting, follow-ups, and sales administration, applying sound judgment to review and refine outputs. Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, pipeline information, and deal documentation. Collaborate with regional sales leadership, marketing, and product teams to share market insights and strengthen sales effectiveness. Support and mentor newer sales managers through coaching, knowledge sharing, and informal onboarding. Requirements: Demonstrated success in a sales role within hospitality technology, ideally hotel technology, with a consistent record of achieving sales targets. Alternatively, substantial hospitality industry experience, preferably including hotel operations, combined with strong commercial or hotel sales and marketing results. SaaS experience is not essential if you have a deep understanding of hotel operations. Strong understanding of how hotels function day to day, including operational workflows, property management systems, and related technology integrations. Proven ability to conduct consultative, technically informed sales conversations and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels. Experience managing complex sales opportunities, developing pipelines, negotiating commercially, and closing deals. Practical AI proficiency equivalent to Level 2, including regular use of AI tools in sales workflows such as research, preparation, proposal development, and follow-up. Strong communication, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills. High levels of ownership, resilience, adaptability, curiosity, and accountability in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. Ability to work collaboratively across distributed international teams while managing responsibilities independently. Nice to have: Experience selling to multi-property hotel groups or managing larger strategic accounts. Hands-on familiarity with property management systems (PMS), hotel technology platforms, and integrations. Experience mentoring, coaching, or onboarding sales colleagues. Benefits: Competitive compensation: Base salary of AUD $95,000–$130,000 , plus uncapped commission. Base salary represents 60% of on-target earnings (OTE), with commission at target representing the remaining 40%. Earnings can exceed OTE through uncapped commission. Unlimited paid holiday: Flexibility to take paid time off in line with team and business responsibilities. Company share program: Opportunity to participate in the company’s share program. Paid parental leave: Six months fully paid for primary caregivers and two months for secondary caregivers, available after one year of service. Learning and development: Annual learning budget of €300, with additional support available for high performers. Dedicated development time: Monthly time allocated to exploring new ideas, developing skills, and supporting personal growth. Work-from-anywhere flexibility: Option to work abroad for a few weeks each year. Flexible working arrangements: Remote-first culture with flexible hybrid options. Home office support: Setup budget and a monthly work-from-home allowance. AI-powered productivity tools: Access to Claude tokens to support automation and more efficient workflows. Relocation opportunities: Relocation options may be available after one year of service. Location-specific benefits: Additional benefits vary by location and may include healthcare, retirement plans, team events, and social activities. International collaboration: Work with a diverse, global team in an environment that values autonomy, continuous learning, innovation, and measurable impact. Inclusive workplace: An equal-opportunity environment that values diverse perspectives and supports fair access to career opportunities.
