Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Executive DACH (Swiss German-speaking) / (German + French-speaking) based in France. Help ambitious Swiss businesses expand internationally by removing the complexities of cross-border hiring and workforce management. As an Account Executive, you will own the full B2B sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to negotiation, closing, and successful customer onboarding. You will advise founders, HR leaders, and other decision-makers on workforce solutions that enable them to hire talent across borders compliantly. Working in a remote-first, international sales team, you will build a strong pipeline, develop strategic relationships, and turn complex business challenges into commercial opportunities. This role is designed for a results-driven sales professional who combines consultative selling with proactive outbound prospecting and confident deal management. You will have the autonomy to manage your territory, exceed ambitious sales targets, and contribute to the growth of a globally connected business.

Take ownership of the complete sales process across assigned Swiss accounts, building a strong pipeline and helping companies understand the value of international workforce solutions. Work closely with prospects and internal sales colleagues to identify business needs, navigate complex buying processes, and consistently achieve commercial objectives. Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and discovery through qualification, negotiation, closing, and successful customer onboarding. Develop and manage relationships with Swiss companies seeking to expand internationally and hire talent across borders. Conduct thorough discovery conversations to understand hiring plans, business priorities, expansion timelines, and potential compliance risks. Engage founders, HR leaders, and other key stakeholders, building internal champions and demonstrating the business value of proposed solutions to Finance, Legal, and executive decision-makers. Apply structured qualification methodologies, such as MEDDICC, to assess opportunities, prioritize qualified prospects, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. Generate new business through proactive outbound activities, including cold calling, personalized outreach, and targeted prospecting around relevant business events and funding announcements. Collaborate with Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to identify and pursue high-value opportunities within the assigned territory. Maintain deal momentum through effective follow-ups, confident negotiations, and clear communication throughout the buying process. Use AI tools to improve prospect research, outreach quality, productivity, and sales execution. Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including pipeline activity, opportunity progress, and sales forecasts. Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas while taking accountability for individual performance and continuously improving through feedback. Contribute to team knowledge-sharing, collaborate with colleagues across international markets, and apply lessons learned from successful and unsuccessful deals. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a proactive, commercially minded sales professional with proven B2B SaaS closing experience and the confidence to engage senior decision-makers. You should combine strong discovery and qualification skills with a willingness to prospect independently, manage complex sales conversations, and deliver measurable results in a fast-paced, remote environment. At least 1 year of experience closing B2B SaaS deals as an Account Executive, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Ability to substantiate sales performance with clear metrics, including quota attainment and closed-won results. Native-level Swiss German proficiency and business-fluent English for the Swiss German-speaking profile; alternatively, fluency in both German and French for the German- and French-speaking profile. Strong discovery, qualification, and consultative selling skills, with experience using methodologies such as MEDDICC. Confidence and persistence in outbound sales, including cold calling, personalized prospecting, and engaging busy founders and senior stakeholders. Ability to uncover customer needs, communicate business value, address objections, and navigate complex decision-making processes. Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a proactive approach to maintaining deal momentum and achieving sales targets. Familiarity with AI-powered tools and the ability to integrate them into daily sales workflows. Experience using HubSpot or a comparable CRM, with strong organizational skills and consistent data hygiene. Coachability, adaptability, and a willingness to seek feedback and implement improvements quickly. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and time-management skills in a distributed working environment. An existing professional network among Swiss founders or HR leaders is an advantage. Previous experience in HR technology, payroll, Employer of Record (EOR), or other compliance-intensive solutions is a plus. Additional French language skills are beneficial for engaging customers in French-speaking Switzerland. Creativity and resourcefulness in identifying new ways to reach decision-makers and generate qualified opportunities. Benefits: Competitive compensation starting from €50,000 gross annual on-target earnings (OTE), comprising 60% base salary and 40% variable bonus, depending on location, skills, and experience. Fully remote working arrangement within approximately two hours of Central European Time (CET). WorkFlex program offering flexibility to work from different locations, subject to applicable policies. Dedicated Well-Being Day to rest, recharge, and support personal well-being. Subsidized gym memberships to support physical health and an active lifestyle. Training and Development Allowance to support continuous learning and professional growth. Annual team meetups to build relationships and strengthen collaboration across the distributed team. Opportunity to work with an international sales organization spanning Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Collaborative, performance-oriented culture that encourages knowledge-sharing, constructive feedback, and collective success. Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunities. Benefits may vary depending on the employee's location and applicable local regulations.
