ABOUT THE ROLE As an Account Executive on the sales team at a B2B construction technology startup, you'll own a European territory and manage mid-market sales from prospecting through close and account growth. You'll help traditional industries modernize their operations by bringing software solutions to businesses that often still rely on paper-based processes and spreadsheets. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and qualify pipeline through cold outreach, direct prospecting, trade shows, fairs, and industry meetups.
- Own the full sales cycle, from initial contact through C-level negotiations and deal close.
- Win mid-market accounts with 100 to 2,000 employees, targeting deal sizes of €25,000 to €40,000.
- Develop customer relationships after the initial sale and identify opportunities to expand and retain accounts.
- Partner with BDRs, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to improve pipeline velocity. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 2 years of experience as an Account Executive in complex B2B SaaS sales, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment.
- A demonstrated record of closing deals in the €15,000 to €20,000 range and mid-market accounts.
- Experience independently building pipeline through cold outreach and applying MEDDPICC or a similar sales methodology.
- Fluency in spoken and written German and English.
- Experience selling to traditional European industries such as manufacturing, logistics, construction, or trade.
- A bachelor's degree from a strong university or equivalent, plus a record of strong performance against sales targets.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Annual on-target earnings are €120,000 to €160,000, with uncapped upside. Visa sponsorship is not available. LOCATION On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
