The 2027 intake opens 20 August 2026 and closes 21 October 2026. Awards run up to 24 months for Masters candidates and 36 months for PhD candidates and support research aligned with ACIAR/FNU priorities.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be nationals of Fiji, Kiribati, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu or Vanuatu. Masters applicants must be 35 or younger and PhD applicants 45 or younger, and candidates must meet FNU postgraduate admission requirements.
