ACIAR's Pacific Agriculture Scholarship Support (PASS) Program funds eligible Pacific Island applicants for a Masters by Research or PhD at Fiji National University beginning Graduate Term 1, 2027.

The FNU PASS route provides full tuition, a one-off book allowance currently FJD 750, living allowance of FJD 21,450 per year unaccompanied or FJD 32,472 accompanied, a one-off establishment allowance currently FJD 1,900 if applicable, medical insurance, and a research grant up to FJD 17,500 for Masters or FJD 40,000 for PhD. Awards are normally 24 months for Masters and 36 months for PhD.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be Pacific Island country nationals from ACIAR partner countries: Fiji, Kiribati, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu or Vanuatu. Applicants must generally be age 35 or below for Masters and 45 or below for PhD, with flexibility in exceptional cases, and meet FNU postgraduate admission and English-language requirements. Degree-specific academic entry criteria apply.
