Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Affiliate Partnerships Manager based in the United States. The Affiliate Partnerships Manager will lead affiliate marketing programs across multiple client accounts, transforming strategic partnerships into measurable business growth. This remote role combines partner recruitment, relationship management, performance analysis, and client strategy to drive revenue and strengthen online visibility. You will develop tailored program roadmaps, negotiate commercial agreements, and optimize affiliate performance across diverse channels. Working closely with SEO, content, and digital PR teams, you will help clients expand their reach through traditional search and AI-driven discovery. You will also mentor junior team members, contribute to business development, and continuously improve affiliate marketing processes. This is an opportunity to shape impactful client strategies in a collaborative, fast-growing digital marketing environment.
Own the strategy, execution, and ongoing management of affiliate programs across multiple client accounts, serving as the primary contact for affiliate-related initiatives. Develop program strategies and 30-, 60-, and 90-day roadmaps aligned with client revenue, online visibility, and AI-driven discovery objectives. Recruit, negotiate with, and activate partners, including publishers, review sites, newsletters, creators, and marketplaces, while managing commissions, revenue-sharing agreements, flat fees, and insertion orders. Apply and refine affiliate recruitment, onboarding, content partnership, and performance management processes, sharing insights to improve internal playbooks. Configure, test, and maintain tracking, attribution, and reporting workflows using platforms such as Impact, PartnerStack, CJ, and Awin. Analyze program performance, identify conversion challenges, evaluate partner quality, and make data-driven optimization decisions independently. Lead client meetings, present results, communicate insights, and recommend strategic improvements with confidence. Train, mentor, and review the work of Affiliate Partnerships Specialists, delegating responsibilities and providing constructive feedback. Support sales calls and proposals by assessing opportunities, estimating potential impact, and outlining affiliate strategies. Collaborate with SEO, content, and digital PR teams to develop integrated growth strategies and contribute to agency partnership and referral initiatives. Manage competing priorities, project deadlines, and utilization targets across multiple accounts while staying informed about affiliate industry trends and evolving AI and LLM discovery practices. Requirements: 4–6 years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnership marketing, influencer marketing, or performance marketing, including at least 2 years directly managing programs or client accounts. At least 2 years of experience working in a marketing agency or professional services environment. Demonstrated success recruiting, negotiating with, and growing affiliate partnerships that generate measurable revenue. Strong understanding of affiliate tracking and attribution, including cookies, pixels, server-to-server tracking, attribution windows, commission models, and insertion orders. Hands-on experience setting up, managing, and troubleshooting affiliate platforms such as Impact, PartnerStack, CJ, Awin, Amazon Associates, Everflow, or comparable networks. Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret campaign data, identify opportunities, develop forecasts, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Solid understanding of digital marketing funnels, conversion metrics, and the contribution of affiliate partnerships to broader business objectives. Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, present performance results, and manage expectations independently. Experience mentoring junior colleagues, reviewing deliverables, or supporting team development. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fully remote environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with experience using Google Workspace and project management systems. Genuine interest in how AI and large language models are changing online discovery, content distribution, and the value of affiliate partnerships. Experience with both B2B and B2C affiliate programs, creator and influencer partnerships, sales proposals, or the development of playbooks and reporting frameworks is an advantage. An affiliate marketing certification, such as the PXA Industry Associate Certification or an equivalent qualification, is a plus. Benefits: Annual salary ranging from $86,000 to $95,000 , depending on experience, affiliate marketing expertise, platform knowledge, negotiation skills, client management experience, and leadership background. 100% employer-provided health, dental, and vision benefits for U.S. employees. 401(k) matching at 50% of employee contributions, up to 6% of salary. Unlimited paid time off, with encouraged mental health days. Paid parental leave. Donation matching. Career development training and professional growth opportunities. Remote work equipment. Team-wide health challenges and virtual events that support connection and engagement in a remote-first environment. Opportunities to take ownership of increasingly complex client accounts, contribute to business development, expand people leadership responsibilities, and progress toward senior leadership within the affiliate partnerships function.
