Learn more at  www.heygen.com .  Visit our Mission and Culture doc here .  About the role HeyGen is looking for an AI video creator who already lives on the frontier of generative video and has a portfolio to prove it. You’ll produce the videos that show the world what HeyGen can do: platform demos, campaign content, social-first videos, and internal projects, from concept to final cut. HeyGen and HyperFrames are your primary tools, but every other model in the stack is there to feed them. This is a full-time contractor role with the opportunity to convert to a permanent position based on performance.  We are an in-office work environment.  What you’ll do Produce high-quality AI video for campaigns, internal projects, and platform demos, from concept to final cut, with HeyGen avatars and HyperFrames at the center of the pipeline Build HyperFrames projects that render deterministic, editable video, and pair them with HeyGen avatars, voices, and translations to deliver finished assets Maintain deep, current expertise across MCPs and generative video models (Veo, Sora, Seedance, Runway, Kling, Hailuo, Wan, Pika) and know each model’s strengths, limits, and sweet spots, and when to route footage into a HeyGen or HyperFrames pipeline Develop advanced prompting techniques and multi-step pipelines that consistently produce realistic results, and build prompt libraries the team can reuse Build scroll-stopping hooks in the first 3 seconds and deliver multiple hook and creative variations so the team can test what performs Write short concepts, shot lists, storyboards, and prompts, and plan scenes before generating so every video has a clear idea Combine AI footage with traditional editing (Premiere, After Effects, CapCut): captions, subtitles, transitions, effects, basic color, and sound design Reframe and export every piece in the right format and aspect ratio (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Experiment relentlessly: test new models and HeyGen features on release day, benchmark outputs, and turn findings into content ideas and team playbooks Track short-form trends, formats, and sounds and quickly turn them into content Who you are Strong visual eye and storytelling instinct. Your videos communicate, not just impress Hands-on with HeyGen and HyperFrames: you can take a brief from blank page to rendered MP4 using HeyGen avatars and HyperFrames projects, and you have work that shows it 1+ years creating AI video content (professional, freelance, or prolific personal practice) with a portfolio to prove it Active creator with 10k+ followers on at least one platform (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X).  Encyclopedic knowledge of current generative video models and a clear POV on when to use which Exceptional prompting skills: you understand how language and parameters translate to visual output across architectures Experience building agent-driven video workflows (HyperFrames skills, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI) Experience with traditional video editing Premiere, After Effects, CapCut) Contractor Salary Range: $5,000-10,000/month Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.  HeyGen considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, as well as location, market and business considerations when extending an offer.  HeyGen is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
