The Role An opportunity has become available for an Allied Health Director (Clinical Informatics) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You will Provide authoritative expert and timely advice on digital healthcare strategiesLead hospital wide change management, communication and training activitiesProvide leadership to multidisciplinary teamDrive the adoption and optimal use of digital health technologies for GCHHS clinical and support staffAbout you To be successful in this position you will require:Qualification in relevant health practitioner discipline: Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Social Work or Speech Pathology (as per role description)AHPRA Registration Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)BenefitsFlexible work optionsCareer DevelopmentSalary PackagingModern FacilitiesDiverse Work CultureResearch Opportunities12.75% super17.5% leave loadingSalaryPermanent full timeBase salary ranging from $165,822 - $171,483 per annumAbout Us The Digital Health and Innovation (DHI) division has been established to drive significant service improvements and digital transformation opportunities, in alignment with the strategic objectives outlined in the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Services Strategic Plan 2028.The DHI portfolio consists of interconnected functional business units and teams, including Digital Project Delivery, Digital Experience, Technology Operations, Health Information and Digital Security and Architecture.
