ANR’s 2027 Generic Call for Proposals (AAPG) is the agency’s main project-funding call, open across all scientific fields through five research funding instruments.

The 2027 AAPG includes JCJC (Young Researcher), PRME (Single-Team Research Project), PRC, PRCE and PRCI instruments across 57 research themes. Step 1 submission/registration closes on 13 October 2026 at 17:00 Paris time. IRIS opens in early September for the relevant Step 1 submissions and registrations. Award amounts and detailed eligibility vary by instrument and are governed by the current AAPG call text.
Eligibility requirements
Open to scientific communities and public or private stakeholders involved in French research, subject to the eligibility rules of the selected instrument. Applicants must select the appropriate research theme and funding instrument and comply with instrument-specific consortium, career-stage and international-collaboration rules.
