Abt Electronics has an immediate opening for the position of an Appliance Parts Warehouse Associate. We are a family owned company who has been in business since 1936 and continues to experience strong growth year after year. Abt Electronics specializes in electronics, appliance & furniture sales, delivery, installation and servicing all the products we sell. We are a perennial winner of the Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplace Award. We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible & friendly Appliance Parts Warehouse Associate to join our team. In addition, must be comfortable contributing/working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fun work environment. Primary duties include:
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, carts, racks, and shelves by hand.
- Loads materials into vehicles.
- Counts and records the number of units of materials moved or handled on the daily production sheet
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials
- Perform other miscellaneous task as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Stand for long periods of time
- Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, and crouch are frequently required.
- Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand
- Have some computer knowledge in Excel and word.
- Training will be provided
