As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our mortgage business. Your primary responsibility will be to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team, ensuring they meet and exceed sales targets. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and key stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Lead and mentor the mortgage sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales goals.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Build and nurture relationships with brokers, maintaining a strong network.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide performance feedback.
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Represent MashreqBank at industry events and conferences.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial industry.
- Proven track record of successful team management and sales leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- A proactive and results-driven approach to work.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
