This is a senior technical leadership opportunity to architect a new greenfield Fixed Income platform from the ground up. You will combine robust Java architecture with modern cloud-native engineering and AI-assisted development practices. The role has a strong focus on microservices, distributed systems, integrations, security, resilience, and scalability. You will help shape technical standards, architecture decisions, development workflows, and engineering quality across the platform. Generative AI will be embedded into the development lifecycle, supporting coding, testing, documentation, and automation. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and external technology partners in a dynamic financial technology environment. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing technical direction, and turning ambitious ideas into reliable products.

Architect and develop critical Java components, ensuring performance, scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance across the platform. Lead the technical design of microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, integrations, and communication layers with financial data providers and external partners. Drive AI-assisted software development practices, including effective prompt engineering, code generation, output validation, automated testing, and technical documentation. Define and maintain technical standards, architecture principles, coding practices, and engineering patterns across the development lifecycle. Facilitate technical rituals such as architecture reviews, technical refinements, design discussions, and alignment on coding and integration standards. Establish robust CI/CD, testing, DevSecOps, observability, and cloud practices to support reliable and scalable delivery. Ensure application security and compliance with relevant cybersecurity practices and financial-sector requirements. Partner with Product Owners and Product Managers during discovery to assess technical feasibility, dependencies, risks, and high-level delivery effort. Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to design and implement complex integrations and resolve technical challenges. Mentor engineers, promote knowledge sharing, and continuously identify opportunities to improve architecture, development processes, and engineering productivity. Requirements Advanced professional experience with Java, preferably version 11 or later, and strong knowledge of the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, and Spring Security. Strong experience designing and implementing microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), REST APIs, and established software design patterns. Practical experience with AI-driven software development and LLM-based tools such as Gemini, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT Enterprise, including prompt engineering for code, testing, and documentation. Solid experience with system integration, process automation, messaging and streaming technologies such as RabbitMQ and Kafka, and third-party APIs. Strong knowledge of Git workflows, including GitFlow or trunk-based development, and CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. Strong engineering quality practices, including TDD, BDD, unit and integration testing, JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, Spring Test, SonarQube, Clean Code, and rigorous code reviews. Experience with DevSecOps, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud environments such as AWS or GCP, and integrating security practices into development pipelines. Strong knowledge of observability across distributed systems, including centralized logging, distributed tracing, monitoring, performance metrics, alerting, and APM solutions such as Datadog or New Relic. Experience implementing authentication and authorization using technologies such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, or Okta. Practical knowledge of Google Cloud and, ideally, experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio and large-scale data platforms such as BigQuery. Familiarity with financial services, particularly Fixed Income and Credit products and related operational processes, is desirable. Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business discussions. Proactive, adaptable, curious, and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving greenfield environment. Benefits Fully remote work model. Opportunity to build a new financial technology platform from the ground up. Exposure to cutting-edge Generative AI applied throughout the software development lifecycle. Opportunity to work with modern cloud, microservices, DevOps, observability, and distributed-system technologies. Collaborative environment focused on knowledge sharing, technical growth, and continuous learning. Access to professional development initiatives, training, courses, and learning resources. Mentoring and career development opportunities. Health and dental insurance. Life insurance. Meal and food benefits. Home-office and mobility support. Flexible working arrangements. Wellhub/Gympass access. Birthday day off. Recognition and rewards programs. Inclusive environment with opportunities available to people with disabilities and diverse backgrounds.
