Overview
AIT's student internship programme lets eligible enrolled students complete supervised internships with partner enterprises; the official recurring Spring-cycle application window is 1–15 September for internships running January–April.
Complete internship details
Internships are intended to connect AIT coursework with practical workplace experience. The official programme requires at least 480 internship hours over a minimum of three months. The host organization and AIT faculty adviser jointly supervise the assignment, and students complete proposal, progress and final reporting/presentation requirements.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be enrolled at AIT, have a CGPA of at least 3.00, have completed two semesters of coursework (four terms for School of Management students), have an AIT English level of at least 6.0, and obtain in-principle approval from their academic adviser.

Verification notes
The current AIT Student Internships page was checked on 2026-09-07 UTC. It states a recurring Spring internship period of January–April with applications 1–15 September, lists the eligibility rules and minimum 480-hour/three-month duration, and links the AIT SIS application portals. Because the page does not attach a calendar year to the recurring 1–15 September window, no fabricated year-specific deadline is stored.
