The Assistant Beverage Manager is responsible for supporting the Beverage Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the bar and beverage outlets to ensure service excellence, revenue targets, guest satisfaction, and cost control are consistently achieved. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory and stock levels, implementing training programs, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. The Assistant Beverage Manager plays a key role in maintaining high beverage service quality, promoting guest engagement, and upholding the hotel’s standards and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support day-to-day bar operations, ensuring service is efficient, courteous, and aligned with brand standards.
- Monitor beverage cost, inventory, and ordering processes to ensure profitability and stock availability.
- Assist in scheduling, staff training, performance reviews, and promoting a positive working environment.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to implement promotions, events, and beverage service enhancements.
- Handle guest interactions, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and urgency to ensure high guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field; a strong background in Food & Beverage operations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a 4 or 5-star environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a hands-on approach.
- Proficient in English (verbal and written), computer literate, and familiar with bar systems and POS.
- Knowledge of beverage products, service procedures, budgeting, and training development.
