Job Overview
The Assistant Manager, Wealth Management Compliance supports the Head of Wealth Compliance in managing day-to-day compliance activities, regulatory reviews, product and fund approvals, monitoring, and management reporting. The role ensures adherence to applicable SCA and UAE Central Bank requirements, evaluates regulatory developments, maintains accurate compliance records, and works with relevant stakeholders to address compliance issues, complete regulatory submissions, and support the effective operation of the Wealth Management Compliance function.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor SCA and Central Bank circulars, assess their applicability and requirements, and communicate relevant updates to stakeholders.
• Review Wealth Management products, services, documents, processes, proposals, and counterparty agreements for compliance approval.
• Support compliance monitoring reviews of Wealth Management investment activities and follow identified issues through to remediation or regularization.
• Coordinate, verify, reconcile, and maintain information required for regulatory submissions, departmental reports, and management information.
• Assist with regulatory surveys, licensing requirements, audits, ad hoc projects, staff training, and knowledge sharing within the unit.
Skills and Experience
• Bachelor's Graduate or diploma holder from a reputable institution.
• 2–3 years of broad banking or multinational organization experience.
• Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively across all management levels.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, influencing, and compliance-documentation review skills.
• Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while managing priorities and meeting strict deadlines.
