Collaborate closely with product, research, engineering, finance, privacy, compliance, trade, and other cross-functional stakeholders, as well as external legal counsel. Translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-legal stakeholders while incorporating product, engineering, and commercial priorities into legal advice. Support strategic decision-making by identifying legal risks, evaluating commercial opportunities, and helping teams navigate novel and ambiguous legal questions. Contribute to efficient legal service delivery by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and leverage existing AI tools or help develop more effective solutions. At least 8 years of relevant legal experience at a leading law firm, in an in-house legal department, or a combination of both. Substantial experience advising on strategic partnerships involving the manufacturing, distribution, and sale of technology products in the United States and internationally. Demonstrated success drafting, negotiating, and executing complex technology transactions with a direct impact on business or product strategy. Strong versatility across product and transactional legal matters, with the ability and willingness to develop expertise beyond established practice areas. Excellent judgment and the ability to provide confident, practical guidance when addressing novel legal issues, ambiguous situations, and emerging technologies. Strong business acumen and the ability to align legal recommendations with product development, engineering, commercial priorities, and broader organizational goals. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and an interest in improving team efficiency through technology, including AI-enabled tools.
