We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Automation Tech Lead to lead the technical direction of our automation infrastructure and drive the adoption of scalable, reliable, and maintainable automation solutions. The role combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, architecture, and mentoring, working closely with QA, R&D, DevOps, and Product teams.
Define and drive the technical strategy and architecture of automation. Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks. Develop automated tests using Python and pytest. Integrate and maintain automation within CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins. Define automation best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines. Improve automation stability, execution time, coverage, and maintainability. Lead debugging and root-cause analysis of complex automation and system issues. Mentor automation engineers and conduct code reviews. Collaborate with R&D to improve product testability and quality. Evaluate and introduce new technologies and approaches, including AI-based testing and automation.
5+ years of experience in QA, test automation, or software development. Strong hands-on experience with Python and pytest. Experience working with complex multidisciplinary systems and products across software, hardware, and networking domains. Experience with Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, REST APIs, networking, or distributed systems. Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks. Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD, preferably Jenkins. Experience with AI-assisted development or testing. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes. Experience with API, integration, system, and end-to-end testing. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills. Ability to lead technical initiatives and influence teams without formal authority.
B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
