Role Description: Job Title: Automation Tester Location: Pune, Bangalore,Mumbai, Gurugram Shift Time: EMEA Overview:   Role Description: About the Role QA Engineer (2-5 Years Experience) Location: Bangalore / Pune / Chennai / Mumbai / Gurugram Experience: 2-5 Years Job Description We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Manual Testing, API Testing, and Database Testing (SQL) , along with exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks. Key Responsibilities Design, create, and execute test cases and test scenarios for web-based applications. Perform Functional, SIT, Regression, and UAT Testing to ensure product quality. Validate APIs using testing tools and perform backend validation through SQL queries. Identify, log, track, and verify defects through resolution. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java, TestNG, Cucumber, and Playwright . Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners in an Agile environment. Participate in sprint ceremonies, test planning, and release activities. Utilize Jira and Confluence for defect tracking, documentation, and test management. Required Skills 2-5 years of experience in Software Testing. Strong experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, and SQL . Hands-on experience in Functional, SIT, Regression, and UAT Testing . Good knowledge of Selenium Java, TestNG, Cucumber, and Playwright . Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies . Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Exposure to automation framework development. Experience working in Banking, Capital Markets, or Financial Services domains. Understanding of CI/CD and modern QA practices.
