LiveX AI · Backend Software Engineer Palo Alto, CA · Full-time, on-site · Department: Engineering Source: https://livex.ai/careers/backend-software-engineer (posted May 27, 2026) ABOUT THE ROLE LiveX AI is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to develop and enhance the backend systems behind its AI platform, which provides real-time, personalized customer engagement, faster problem-solving, and proactive support. Design scalable, efficient infrastructure for AI agents so they deliver VIP-level service in every customer interaction. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services that power AI-driven customer engagement solutions.
- Implement and integrate AI models, including LLM technologies, to deliver personalized, seamless customer interactions.
- Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability to support real-time AI-driven workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product) to refine AI-powered solutions.
- Stay current on emerging AI and backend technologies; propose and implement innovative solutions. QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
- Proven expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, or similar advanced AI technologies.
- Hands-on experience with open-source LLM frameworks and tools, including deployment and optimization.
- Proficiency with cloud services (especially Google Cloud) and API development.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Go; clean, efficient, maintainable code.
- Passion for using technology to drive business innovation and improve customer experiences.
- Comfortable in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments; proactive, adaptable.
- Fast learner with a startup mentality; takes initiative in a dynamic, fast-paced team. NICE-TO-HAVES
