KU Leuven will award one Borghgraef Scholarship for the 2027–28 Master of Bioethics to an excellent, strongly motivated applicant of any nationality.

The Borghgraef Scholarship is a one-off allowance for one academic year in KU Leuven's Master of Bioethics. KU Leuven states that the 2027–28 grant amount is still to be decided; the 2026–27 award was €3,500. The scholarship cannot be combined with another fellowship. Applicants must complete both the programme-level eligibility screening and the formal Master of Bioethics admission application by 31 March 2027.

Applicants from all countries may apply. Candidates must meet the Master of Bioethics admission requirements, have excellent academic results, show strong motivation, and must not combine the Borghgraef award with another fellowship.
