Increase partner engagement, encourage consistent referrals, and identify opportunities to generate additional revenue through collaborative business development. Consultative Sales and Client Solutions: Understand merchants' business needs, challenges, and objectives to recommend appropriate payment processing and technology solutions. Clearly communicate product benefits and demonstrate how proposed solutions can improve operational efficiency and support business growth. Full Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and initial outreach through needs assessment, presentations, objection handling, negotiations, and closing. Maintain strong conversion rates and ensure a consistent flow of new business. Territory and Market Development: Identify emerging business opportunities, develop local professional relationships, and strengthen market awareness. Position payment technology solutions as valuable tools for merchants seeking reliable and efficient ways to manage transactions. Performance Tracking and Accountability: Monitor sales activities, pipeline development, conversion metrics, and revenue results. Maintain a results-oriented approach and take ownership of individual performance objectives in a fast-paced sales environment. Customer Relationship Development: Build trust with prospective and existing clients by providing professional guidance, understanding their evolving needs, and supporting long-term customer satisfaction and business value. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside experienced sales professionals and channel partners to share market insights, strengthen referral opportunities, and contribute to broader business development objectives. Requirements B2B Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in outside business-to-business sales, including prospecting, developing a sales pipeline, acquiring new customers, and consistently achieving sales targets. Business Development Skills: Strong lead-generation, networking, and relationship-building abilities, with the confidence to engage business owners, decision-makers, and strategic partners. Consultative Selling Expertise: Ability to assess customer needs, present tailored solutions, communicate business value effectively, overcome objections, and guide prospects through purchasing decisions. Results-Driven Mindset: Strong entrepreneurial initiative, resilience, and accountability, with the motivation to achieve ambitious targets in a commission-based, performance-oriented environment. Communication and Presentation: Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to establish credibility, influence decisions, and build lasting professional relationships. Organization and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple prospects, sales activities, and opportunities simultaneously while maintaining an organized pipeline and prioritizing activities that generate results. Independence and Adaptability: Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely, managing an assigned territory, making independent decisions, and adapting to changing market conditions and customer needs. Customer-Centric Approach: Commitment to understanding merchant requirements and recommending solutions that deliver measurable business value and support long-term customer success. Preferred Industry Experience: Experience selling payment processing services, financial products, software, or technology solutions is an asset. Professional Networking: Active participation in business associations, merchant organizations, or professional networking groups is an advantage. Commission-Based Sales Experience: Previous success in a sales environment involving commissions, high-volume prospecting, and relatively short sales cycles is beneficial. Benefits Competitive Base Salary: Annual base salary of CAD $55,000. Uncapped Monthly Commissions: Unlimited commission potential based on sales performance and business development results. First-Year Earning Potential: Estimated first-year on-target earnings (OTE) of approximately CAD $75,000, combining base salary and expected commissions. Actual earnings may vary depending on performance. Employee Benefits: Access to a benefits package, with specific coverage details to be confirmed during the recruitment process. Remote Work Arrangement: Work remotely while developing business relationships and managing opportunities across your assigned territory. Full-Time Employment: A full-time role offering the opportunity to build a sustainable sales career in the payments technology sector. Professional Development: Learn from experienced sales professionals and industry specialists while developing expertise in payment solutions, consultative selling, and strategic partnerships. Performance-Based Earning Opportunities: Directly influence your earning potential through new client acquisition, referral generation, and sales performance.
