The regular BSF programme supports collaborative projects for 2–4 years with a maximum total grant of US$300,000. The 2026 online submission system opened 1 September 2026. All investigators and research authorities must complete approval by 18 November 2026 at 17:00 Israel time.
Eligibility requirements
Principal investigators must hold a PhD, MD or equivalent degree. Proposals are collaborative U.S.–Israel projects and must meet the BSF’s current eligible-area and institutional research-authority requirements.
