This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Development Executive VS based in United States. This role focuses on driving direct and indirect revenue growth across a portfolio of high-value executive accounts, particularly large enterprise fleets. You will lead complex, consultative sales strategies from prospecting through opportunity development and closing. The position combines strategic business development, enterprise selling, industry expertise, and relationship management. You will collaborate closely with sales, strategic accounts, revenue operations, partner teams, and external channel partners. A strong understanding of telematics, fleet management, and evolving technology trends will be essential to identifying new opportunities. The role also offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and requires a proactive, analytical, and commercially minded approach.
Prospect, research, identify, and pursue new business opportunities across assigned executive accounts. Develop and execute sales strategies designed to generate new annual recurring revenue and achieve assigned growth targets. Lead complex and consultative enterprise sales pursuits, including opportunity qualification, engagement, negotiation, and closing. Maintain accurate sales strategies, activities, and opportunity information in Salesloft and Salesforce to support forecasting and revenue performance. Initiate and manage contract development activities when required for assigned accounts. Identify and support strategic channel partnerships that can contribute to revenue growth. Work closely with Business Segment teams and Global Strategic Accounts to align account strategies, upselling initiatives, and broader business objectives. Partner with Revenue Operations, Partner Account Managers, and other internal stakeholders to optimize sales processes and systems. Contribute to RFX processes and other strategic sales initiatives involving assigned executive accounts. Develop deep expertise in telematics and fleet management, monitoring industry developments, competitive activity, market trends, and emerging opportunities. Build subject matter expertise around segment-specific solutions and sales narratives relevant to assigned accounts. Represent the organization at trade shows and industry conferences where appropriate, strengthening relationships, market presence, and thought leadership. Contribute to short- and long-term revenue planning, forecasting, competitive analysis, and strategic business development initiatives. Requirements: 8–10 years of experience in sales, business development, customer development, account management, or a related field. Post-secondary diploma or degree in Engineering, Business, Commerce, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Proven track record of developing new business and expanding accounts within the telematics or fleet management industry. Strong proficiency with Salesloft and Salesforce, combined with the ability to leverage emerging AI capabilities to improve sales efficiency and win rates. Strong strategic thinking, research, and analytical skills, with the ability to identify decision-makers, assess market opportunities, and develop effective pursuit strategies. Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship management, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong diplomacy and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders. Strong technical aptitude and a demonstrated ability to manage complex enterprise sales cycles. Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 60% of the time, with a valid passport.
