PowerGen is hiring a full-time Business Development Lead to originate and advance commercial and industrial renewable-energy projects across Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea.
Full job description
The role manages the business-development cycle from opportunity identification and feasibility assessment through financial modelling, proposals, pricing, contracting and stakeholder engagement. It owns regional pipeline growth, regulatory and permitting navigation, market intelligence and cross-functional coordination, with frequent travel across the Mano River Union region.
Requirements & qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, energy systems or a related field; 7–10 years of business-development, project-origination or commercial experience in energy or renewable energy; a record of C&I project development, deal origination, financial modelling, contract negotiation and project structuring; multi-country business-development experience; and knowledge of West African energy regulations and compliance.
