ABOUT THE ROLE Join the go-to-market team at a Series A/B cybersecurity software company as a Business Development Representative focused on small and midsize businesses across the DACH region. You will generate qualified sales pipeline through high-volume outbound work and help build a predictable flow of opportunities for the sales team. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Generate new pipeline through cold calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Manage an SMB territory in the DACH region and meet daily activity and outreach targets.
- Lead discovery and qualification calls, then pass qualified opportunities to Account Executives.
- Keep CRM records and pipeline tracking accurate in HubSpot.
- Collaborate with go-to-market leadership and Account Executives to maintain a steady flow of qualified meetings.
- Use feedback and performance data to improve outreach, and identify opportunities to automate repetitive work. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced environment such as sales, business development, consulting, or a startup.
- Completed commercial training or a bachelor's degree.
- Native or fluent German at C2 level and strong English skills.
- Experience with sales KPIs and activity metrics, as well as conducting prospect discovery and qualification calls.
- Confidence with cold calling, persistence, ownership, and a structured, data-driven approach to work.
- Some business development or sales experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools. Early-stage startup experience is a plus. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Visa sponsorship is not available. Candidates must already have authorization to work locally. LOCATION Hybrid role based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, with one day per week on-site.
