Communicate claim status, investigation findings, and progress updates clearly and professionally to customers, claimants, and clients. Follow client and insurance carrier guidelines, established claims practices, and applicable procedures. Participate in claim reviews and provide relevant information to support accurate assessments and effective claim resolution. Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders to address complex, disputed, or problematic claims. Maintain accurate documentation and manage claim activities in line with service expectations, quality standards, and performance objectives. Requirements: At least five years of experience handling general liability claims, including high-exposure and/or litigated claims. At least two years of experience handling automobile liability claims. A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. A current adjuster’s license in the state where the position operates is required; multistate adjuster licensing is preferred. Experience handling claims involving municipalities is an advantage. Strong knowledge of liability claims investigation, coverage evaluation, claim compensability, reserving, payment authorization, and litigation-related claim management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain claim status and complex information clearly to different stakeholders. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to assess evidence and determine appropriate claim actions. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple claims and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships with clients, claimants, colleagues, and other parties. The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment within delegated authority, and collaborate effectively with a team. A commitment to accuracy, professionalism, quality service, and consistently meeting or exceeding performance expectations. Benefits: Competitive hourly pay ranging from $29.35 to $47.28 , with the final rate determined by location, relevant experience, qualifications, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
