The event celebrated the achievements of the returning Scholars following their postgraduate studies in the UK and provided an opportunity for these new alumni to share how they intend to implement their skills, knowledge and networks to drive positive change in Cameroon. Speaking at the event, the British High Commissioner, H.E. We all want to see greater possibilities and connections between the UK and Cameroon. The event celebrated the achievements of the returning Scholars following their postgraduate studies in the UK and provided an opportunity for these new alumni to share how they intend to implement their skills, knowledge and networks to drive positive change in Cameroon.

A key highlight of the event was the Alumni Pledge, where new alumni from both the Commonwealth and Chevening Scholarships committed to making a positive impact in Cameroon as leaders shaped by UK education.
Attendees included Professor Sarah Agbor, a representative of the Ministry of Higher Education, the CSC’s national nominating agency in Cameroon, and two members of the CSC’s Alumni Advisory Panel, Dr Nobert Lemonge and Professor Francois Eya’ane.
