Abt Electronics has an immediate opening for the position of a service writer. We are a family owned company who has been in business since 1936 and continues to experience strong growth year after year. Abt Electronics specializes in electronics, appliance & furniture sales, delivery, installation and servicing all the products we sell. We are a perennial winner of the Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplace Award. We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible & friendly service writer to join our team. In addition, should be comfortable contributing/working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fun work environment. Primary duties include:
- Assist customers in person with vehicle check in and check out
- Provide excellent customer service in store, over the phone & online
- Daily data entry of work performed by our mobile install team
- Schedule or reschedule installation appointments in person and over the phone
- Maintain professional communication with customers & coworkers
Job Requirements:
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in retail
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to take initiative & make decisions
- Approachable & outgoing personality
- Bi-lingual a plus
