We are seeking an experienced Catering Chef & Manager to lead and manage large-scale catering operations in Abu Dhabi. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring strong culinary expertise, operational leadership, and excellent client-facing skills. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Arabic and English and capable of independently managing on-site catering events while consistently delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end catering operations, from planning to execution
- Manage on-site catering events independently, ensuring high service and food standards
- Lead menu execution and coordinate kitchen and service teams during events
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring a smooth and professional experience
- Build, train, and manage the catering team to support operational needs
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standards
- Support the growth and development of the catering business through operational excellence
Reporting Line
- Reports directly to Senior Culinary Leadership
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing and executing large-scale catering events
- Strong leadership background with the ability to build, train, and lead a catering team
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Solid experience in menu execution, operational planning, and event logistics
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
- Experience supporting business growth and catering operations expansion
- International candidates are welcome, provided Arabic fluency is met.
