The Caribbean Development Bank is accepting applications from eligible public-procurement professionals in its Borrowing Member Countries for funded study in the International Master in Public Procurement Management at the University of Rome Tor Vergata for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The one-year programme combines 4.25 consecutive months of in-person classes in Rome, a distance-learning module, a mandatory 500-hour professional internship and a final dissertation. CDB states that scholarship support covers the full tuition fee, travel to and from Italy for the in-class period, transit per diem, campus accommodation allowance, subsistence allowance in Italy, a USD 350 administrative allowance for visa/CIMEA or Declaration of Value costs, and certain additional visa-related travel costs where required. The 2026/2027 edition is expected to begin in early 2027; the University will confirm exact dates.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be citizens of a CDB Borrowing Member Country, be employed in a professional public-procurement role within the government of a CDB client country or a Caribbean public regional institution, normally hold a recognised Master's-level university degree, normally have at least five years of relevant procurement experience including at least two years in public-sector procurement, be proficient in English, and have no conflict of interest with CDB or the University. Eligible countries listed by CDB include Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, The Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, and Turks and Caicos Islands.
