About The Role
Wash, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas. Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, cutting, chopping, and preparing ingredients. Support the Chef with meal preparation and other basic culinary tasks as directed. Keep kitchen and food preparation areas clean, organized, and sanitary. Properly store ingredients, supplies, and kitchen equipment. Assist with general kitchen setup and cleanup before and after meal preparation. Monitor basic kitchen supplies and communicate when items need to be restocked. Follow established food handling, cleanliness, and kitchen safety practices. Complete assigned responsibilities independently and in a timely manner. Provide additional general kitchen support as needed.
Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to learn and assist with a variety of kitchen responsibilities. Comfortable performing cleaning, washing, food preparation, and other hands-on tasks. Strong attention to cleanliness and organization. Ability to follow instructions and maintain established kitchen standards. Previous kitchen, food preparation, or culinary experience is preferred but not required. Additional culinary skills are a plus. No specific certifications are required for the position.
Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive food preparation and cleaning tasks. Ability to safely lift and carry kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment as needed.
