Chevening is the UK Government’s international scholarship programme. The current Guinea competition is open for 2027–2028 study and funds eligible full-time taught master’s study in the United Kingdom. Standard support includes tuition fees, approved economy travel, a monthly living stipend, visa costs, arrival and departure allowances, a travel top-up and an applicable tuberculosis-test contribution.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must meet Chevening’s current citizenship/residence rules, commit to returning to their country of award for at least two years after the scholarship, have at least 2,800 hours of post-undergraduate work experience, hold an undergraduate degree qualifying them for UK master’s study and have completed undergraduate studies at least two years before the application deadline. Applicants must apply to three eligible UK courses and later secure an unconditional offer from at least one by the published Chevening offer deadline.
