The Maldives 2027–2028 Chevening call is open. Standard support covers tuition, approved economy travel, visa cost, arrival and departure allowances, a monthly living stipend and qualifying travel/TB-test support. Chevening also notes that successful applicants from Maldives must travel to another country for UK visa processing because no UK visa processing centre is available locally; some related travel costs may be eligible for discretionary reimbursement.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be citizens of a Chevening-eligible country, commit to return home for at least two years after the award, have at least 2,800 hours of post-undergraduate work experience, hold an undergraduate degree eligible for UK master's study, and apply to three eligible UK courses with an unconditional offer from at least one by the relevant later deadline.
