Chevening’s current funding package includes university tuition fees, economy travel to and from the scholar’s country of residence, an arrival allowance, the cost of one visa application, a departure allowance, up to £75 toward a required tuberculosis test, a travel top-up allowance and a monthly personal living allowance whose rate depends on whether the scholar studies inside or outside London and is reviewed annually.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must meet Chevening’s current citizenship and return-home requirements, hold an undergraduate degree that enables entry to an eligible UK postgraduate programme, have at least 2,800 hours of work experience gained after completing the undergraduate degree, and meet the other current Chevening application and course requirements.
