Overview
Applications are open for the 2027–2028 Chevening Scholarship for eligible citizens of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to complete a fully funded one-year master's degree in the United Kingdom.
Complete scholarship details
A standard full Chevening award normally covers tuition, approved economy travel, arrival and departure allowances, the visa application cost, a travel top-up, a monthly living stipend and a contribution toward TB testing where required. The country page notes that successful applicants may need to travel to another country for UK visa processing because no UK visa processing centre is available locally, with possible discretionary reimbursement information provided to selected scholars.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must meet Chevening's country-specific and general eligibility conditions, including at least 2,800 hours of qualifying work experience obtained after the undergraduate degree. For the current cycle, applicants must have completed their undergraduate degree by October 2024 to have sufficient time to meet the work-experience requirement. Course, leadership and return-home conditions also apply.
Tips for this scholarship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
