Overview
Applications are open for the 2027–2028 Chevening Scholarship for eligible citizens of Tuvalu to study a fully funded one-year master's degree in the United Kingdom.
Complete scholarship details
Chevening's full scholarship normally covers tuition fees, approved economy travel, arrival and departure allowances, the UK visa application cost, travel top-up support, a monthly living stipend and a TB-test contribution where required. Scholars also join Chevening's professional and alumni network while completing an eligible UK master's programme.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must meet Chevening's Tuvalu and general eligibility requirements, including at least 2,800 hours of qualifying work experience acquired after the undergraduate degree. For this application cycle, the undergraduate degree must have been completed by October 2024 to provide enough time to meet the work-experience threshold. Other Chevening eligibility, leadership, course-choice and return-home conditions apply.
Tips for this scholarship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
