Chevening is the UK Government’s fully funded international scholarship programme for one-year master’s study. Standard funding includes tuition fees, approved economy travel to and from the country of residence, arrival and departure allowances, the visa application cost, a travel top-up allowance, a contribution toward required TB testing, and a monthly living stipend whose rate depends on study location.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must meet Chevening’s current eligibility rules, including citizenship of a Chevening-eligible country or territory, the applicable ODA-country residence rule, a commitment to return to the country of award for at least two years after the scholarship, at least 2,800 hours of work experience acquired after completing the undergraduate degree, a qualifying undergraduate degree completed at least two years before the application deadline, and applications to three eligible UK master’s courses.
