Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager KBF based in Brazil. This is a senior commercial finance role partnering closely with Sales leadership on high-value, complex opportunities. You will influence pricing, deal structures, contractual terms, cash flow, and sustainable profitability across a major business portfolio. The role combines financial modelling, commercial analysis, governance, and strategic decision-making. You’ll act as an independent financial challenger, bringing clarity and discipline to critical commercial decisions. You’ll collaborate across Sales, Legal, Revenue Operations, Accounting, and senior leadership in a global, matrixed environment. The position offers significant autonomy and impact, with success driven by sound judgement rather than people management. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who wants to shape commercial performance at scale.

Serve as the primary finance partner to commercial leadership, providing independent guidance on deal economics, pricing, revenue quality, and financial risk. Evaluate new and existing commercial opportunities, including profitability, cash flow, contractual commitments, pricing structures, and overall deal value. Build and maintain financial models supporting pricing decisions, renewals, expansions, and complex customer negotiations. Review commercial agreements and translate contractual terms into clear financial, operational, and profitability implications. Exercise delegated approval authority over commercial proposals within established financial and governance parameters. Monitor the conversion of bookings and annual recurring revenue into recognised revenue, identifying performance gaps and opportunities for improvement. Support revenue, margin, and profitability objectives through targeted analysis, recommendations, and commercial insights. Establish consistent deal-review criteria, approval processes, and commercial finance controls to improve decision quality and reduce value leakage. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Revenue Operations, Accounting, and senior leadership throughout the commercial lifecycle. Produce concise reporting covering pipeline, revenue conversion, margins, risks, and opportunities. Conduct post-deal reviews to compare expected versus actual outcomes and strengthen future commercial decision-making. Requirements Strong professional experience in commercial finance, deal finance, pricing, FP&A, or revenue-focused financial analysis. Advanced financial-modelling capabilities and a strong understanding of revenue, margin, cash flow, profitability, and return on investment. Demonstrated ability to review complex commercial contracts and identify financial, operational, and contractual risks. Strong commercial judgement, with the confidence to make recommendations independently and with limited supervision. Proven ability to influence senior commercial stakeholders while maintaining financial discipline and objectivity. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Portuguese and English. Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple complex priorities simultaneously. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience working with Sales, Legal, Accounting, and operational teams. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with ERP, CRM, and business-intelligence platforms. Experience in SaaS, software, technology, or subscription-based businesses is preferred. Knowledge of ARR, bookings, renewals, churn, revenue conversion, and related commercial metrics is advantageous. Experience with high-value customer agreements, revenue recognition principles such as IFRS 15 or ASC 606, and commercial governance is a plus. Familiarity with Salesforce, Power BI, financial planning platforms, or similar tools is beneficial. An MBA, postgraduate qualification, or recognised finance certification is desirable. Benefits Permanent full-time employment under a CLT contract, working 42 hours per week. 100% remote work in Brazil, with a hybrid option available for candidates in Serra Gaúcha or the Greater São Paulo area. Monthly compensation and employment benefits provided in Brazilian Real. National medical health plan through Unimed. National dental assistance through Unimed. Extended maternity and paternity leave. Life insurance. Meal/restaurant allowance through Alelo Tudo. Home-office allowance where applicable. Education platforms, training funding, and education allowance. Gympass, Zenklub health services, and Guapeco pet plan. Annual profit-sharing program. Birthday day off. Discounts and partnerships with pharmacies, restaurants, theatres, and other services. An inclusive, collaborative environment with flexibility, autonomy, and opportunities for professional growth. Opportunity to work with senior stakeholders and influence significant commercial and financial decisions within a global organisation.
