Why This Role Matters

Calo is building a stronger organic presence in the UAE, and we’re looking for a content creator who can turn ideas, trends and everyday Calo moments into content people genuinely want to watch and engage with.

You’ll own the day-to-day organic content engine across Instagram and TikTok, helping Calo build a recognizable voice, grow its audience and make organic social a meaningful source of attention in the UAE.

What You’ll Do

• Own Calo UAE’s organic content strategy and content calendar across Instagram and TikTok.
• Come up with fresh, locally relevant content ideas, formats, series and stories.
• Create content end-to-end, from ideation and scripting to shooting, editing, copywriting and publishing.
• Create content in both English and Arabic based on the audience and format.
• Stay close to UAE trends, conversations and culture to spot opportunities for Calo.
• Work with products, people, locations and internal teams to bring content ideas to life.
• Build recurring content formats, characters and series that people can recognize and come back to.
• Manage day-to-day organic channels, including monitoring comments, reactions and audience feedback.
• Track content performance and use insights to improve future content.
• Test different hooks, formats, topics, video lengths, CTAs and creative approaches.
• Keep the content pipeline, calendar and footage library organized and easy for the wider team to use.
• Work closely with the UAE Marketing Lead, Affiliates & Influencers Manager and wider marketing team to stay aligned on priorities and campaigns.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok, ideally for a brand or consumer-focused business.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, formats and what makes content engaging.
• Hands-on skills in shooting, editing, scripting and copywriting.
• Strong understanding of the UAE audience, culture and social media landscape.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, with the ability to create naturally in both.
• Strong creative thinking with the ability to turn simple ideas into engaging content.
• Comfortable being on camera or using voiceover when needed, while also being able to build content around other people, characters and formats.
• Data-aware and curious about what makes content perform.
• Highly organized and able to manage content from idea to publication.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
