Full Job Description

Come be a part of Amazon's dynamic Live Sports Production team. We are looking for an experienced Coordinating Producer to serve as a centralised production lead across all our live sports properties in the LATAM region.

The Live Sports team is responsible for delivering high-quality event and studio productions on all global live sports properties to customers worldwide, across all Prime Video product lines and devices. We are responsible for the on-screen customer experience and drive production excellence and consistency through all our delivery.

The growing volume and complexity across our properties demands a dedicated editorial presence in the LATAM region. This role will function as a first point of contact on all daily operational delivery across our soccer and NBA properties, ensuring consistency in our LATAM output, resolve any immediate vendor concerns in close collaboration with the EU and US internal production teams. Our operations is purpose-built around the needs of an expanding, multi-sport live portfolio rather than a single traditional broadcast network structure. We are defining and building as we evolve, and this person must be excited to roll up their sleeves and help establish the systems, relationships and workflows that will scale with us as our rights portfolio grows in LATAM.

This role requires deep knowledge and experience within live sport editorial production and programming, including current knowledge of the broadcast landscape in Brazil (and preferably the LATAM region) and have established relationships within the industry. The role will work in lockstep with EU and US production leads to define production deliverables across each property and set content strategy. The role will also work closely with internal stakeholders within Business, Marketing and Advertising Sales to ensure commercial needs of our business are operationalised. Additionally, this role will partner directly with our LATAM Production vendors to establish best practices, define operational standards for how vendors will deliver for us, and ensure alignment on processes and expectations across the vendor landscape.

The successful candidate is a self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. You possess the ability to manage high volume of tasks and varied projects quickly with autonomy, react with urgency to situations that demand immediate attention, and have a proven track record of end-to-end ownership in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.

Key job responsibilities Production Oversight & Execution – Oversee all LATAM Live Sports production, ensuring quality and consistency across properties with regular reporting on delivery. Operationalise property launches alongside Production Operations, contributing to budget discussions, aligning spend with editorial ambitions, and partnering with Technical Operations for best-in-class broadcast delivery. Own daily operational delivery, lead property syncs, and attend on-site and studio productions to provide vendor support. Lead vendors in troubleshooting editorial and operational issues through live productions, providing timely resolution and post-event escalation as needed.

Creative Direction & Editorial Standards – Act as editorial lead across the LATAM portfolio, building content strategy in collaboration with EU and US editorial leads. Use local knowledge, viewership data, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvements in production delivery. Build awareness of broadcast innovations, recommending editorial and programming changes that enhance production CX and delight customers.

Vendor & On-Screen Talent Management – Maintain oversight of on-screen talent line-ups, ensuring vendors contract, schedule, and coordinate talent to a high bar. Provide clear deliverables for production vendors and lead regular syncs to guide editorial execution and provide timely feedback.

Internal Stakeholder Management – Partner with the LATAM business lead to oversee the full production portfolio, representing production in local-territory discussions. Collaborate with Marketing and Advertising Sales to operationalise integrations, balancing editorial quality with promotional activities.
