Follow established Energy Isolation procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement of the program through feedback and lessons learned. Assist in maintaining and executing Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures and verify documentation is complete and accurate. Support the coordination and execution of energy isolation activities, ensuring stakeholders are informed and updates are communicated in a timely manner. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Construction, and vendors to help minimize operational impact during energy isolation activities. Participate in energy isolation incident investigations and support the collection of relevant information and corrective actions. Attend High-Risk Activity (HRA) planning meetings and contribute to identifying isolation requirements and risks. Review SOWs, SOPs, and MOPs related to assigned activities to ensure energy sources are identified and isolation requirements are understood. Verify personnel involved in energy isolation activities have completed required training, qualifications, and PPE requirements before work begins. Maintain accurate records of energy isolation activities and support the preparation of program metrics, reports, and compliance documentation. Escalate identified risks, procedural gaps, or compliance concerns to senior Energy Marshals, Engineering teams, or management as appropriate. Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate's citizenship will be verified with a valid passport. Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience. Experience in critical environments, industrial facilities, construction, maintenance, or mission-critical operations. Basic knowledge of Lockout Tagout (LOTO), energy isolation, or electrical safety practices. Ability to communicate technical information effectively with technicians, vendors, and operational teams. Ability to read and interpret electrical one-lines, equipment documentation, and construction drawings. Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and their associated safety requirements. Basic understanding of electrical theory and safe operation of critical infrastructure equipment. Experience supporting maintenance, operations, or construction activities in a technical environment. Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), automation systems, controls, or monitoring platforms. Ability to identify hazards, follow established procedures, and escalate safety concerns appropriately. Demonstrated commitment to safety, operational excellence, and continuous learning.
