Croatia’s Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure is offering up to 50 scholarships to regular first-, second- and third-year university undergraduate students in nautical studies and marine engineering for the 2026–2027 academic year. The student scholarship is EUR 190 per month.

The call covers regular undergraduate nautical and marine-engineering students at maritime higher-education institutions. First-year students may apply based on current enrolment. Students in later undergraduate years must have earned at least 50 ECTS credits and a weighted grade average of at least 3.50 in the previous academic year. Applications are submitted by post to the Ministry. Scholarship continuation is subject to the call and contract conditions, which include study-progress requirements and a maritime-service obligation after education generally at least as long as the scholarship was received, up to 24 months, subject to the stated exceptions.
