Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a D365 F&O Senior Support Consultant based in the United States. Join a collaborative professional services environment where you will help clients maximize the value of their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management solutions. In this senior consulting role, you will lead post-implementation support, resolve complex functional issues, and drive continuous system improvement. You will work closely with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable operations, effective issue resolution, and successful enhancements. Combining deep functional expertise with a client-focused mindset, you will serve as a trusted advisor throughout the application lifecycle. You will also contribute to knowledge sharing, mentor fellow consultants, and strengthen support delivery practices. This remote-friendly opportunity is ideal for an experienced Dynamics professional who enjoys solving complex problems and building lasting client relationships.

Lead post-implementation functional support for clients using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management or earlier versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX. Own complex and escalated support cases from initial assessment through resolution, coordinating functional, technical, and client resources as required. Investigate root causes, assess business impact, recommend solutions or workarounds, and communicate progress, risks, and next steps to stakeholders. Coordinate transitions from implementation projects to ongoing support, including knowledge transfer, documentation, and support-readiness reviews. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance system performance, usability, controls, and business processes. Gather and analyze requirements for system enhancements, develop functional specifications, and prepare test scenarios, support documentation, and end-user materials. Plan and coordinate functional, regression, and user acceptance testing, as well as production validation for fixes and enhancements. Mentor support consultants, review deliverables, share best practices, and contribute to knowledge articles, reusable resources, and service delivery standards. Use Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services, Azure DevOps, and other relevant tools to prioritize, document, track, and report support requests and enhancement work. Maintain current knowledge of Dynamics 365 capabilities, product releases, and Microsoft guidance while delivering effective support in a remote, client-facing environment. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Accounting, Finance, Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may also be considered. At least five years of functional consulting, implementation, or application support experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management. At least three years of experience in post-implementation support, managed services, or service desk operations in a client-facing environment, including responsibility for complex or escalated issues. Strong functional expertise in one or more Dynamics 365 Finance or Supply Chain Management modules, with an understanding of cross-functional processes and system integrations. Demonstrated ability to lead requirements analysis, solution design, testing, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication with limited supervision. Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, organization, prioritization, and client relationship management skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities, exercise sound judgment, and deliver high-quality work in a dynamic consulting environment. Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder). Preferred qualifications: Current or previous Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, Power Platform, or Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. Experience leading Tier 2 or Tier 3 application support, including incident triage, root-cause analysis, escalation management, and resolution of high-impact issues. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services, release and environment management, and structured change-control processes. Knowledge of Dynamics 365 integrations, data management, reporting, workflows, security, and Power Platform capabilities. Experience mentoring consultants, developing knowledge resources, improving support processes, or contributing to managed services performance and service-level reporting. A collaborative, solutions-oriented leadership style, with a commitment to integrity, trust, employee development, and influencing positive outcomes across teams. Benefits Competitive salary: Estimated base compensation range of $81,980.50–$172,324.25 per year, with the midpoint at $127,152.38. Final compensation depends on experience, location, skills, and other relevant factors. Flexible time off: Flexible Time Off available from the first day of employment, subject to role and business requirements. Paid holidays: Nine paid holidays annually, with potential time off during the final week of the calendar year when client and project schedules permit. Flexible work arrangements: Work flexibility designed to support productivity and work-life balance. Comprehensive insurance: Health, dental, vision, life, accident, and disability insurance options. Health savings support: Employer contributions to a Health Savings Account (HSA). Retirement benefits: 401(k) plan with employer contributions. Wellness program: Programs and activities supporting employee well-being, with opportunities to earn gift cards and other rewards. Professional development: Tuition reimbursement and opportunities to expand technical expertise and consulting capabilities. Referral incentives: Employee referral and client referral bonus programs. Additional perks: Pet insurance and other resources designed to support employees and their families.
