Data Analyst Intern - Data Payments

About the Role We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern w ho is curious, analytical, and eager to learn how data is used to support business decisions. This internship is designed for someone who wants hands-on exposure to real datasets, reporting, and basic analysis while being mentored by experienced team members. You will support the data team in collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to help teams understand performance, trends, and opportunities.

Assist in collecting, cleaning, and validating data from multiple sources Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and simple data visualizations Analyze operational trends, patterns, and performance metrics to generate meaningful insights Partner with stakeholders to define data requirements and answer key business questions Deliver fast, accurate ad-hoc analyses to support day-to-day team decision-making Maintain thorough data documentation while adhering strictly to governance and best practices

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or equivalent. Basic understanding in data analysis concepts and key business/product metrics. Proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel/Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables), and working exposure to Python or R. Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms. High analytical acumen with strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling large datasets. Excellent communication skills with a proactive, curious mindset and a willingness to ask questions.
