Deakin University’s Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship offers selected new international coursework students a 100% or 50% tuition-fee award for the normal duration of their programme.

The award covers either 100% or 50% of tuition fees, depending on the scholarship outcome, for the normal duration of the Deakin programme. Recipients must participate in the Vice-Chancellor’s Professional Excellence Program. The scholarship also provides priority access to on-campus accommodation, but accommodation remains at the recipient’s own cost and subject to availability. Applications are assessed on a rolling basis before each trimester.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be new international students enrolling in a Deakin coursework degree, meet programme and English-language entry requirements, and have achieved at least an 85% average or equivalent in previous studies. The scholarship excludes the Doctor of Medicine (H911). Deakin defines international students to include residents or citizens of any other country intending to study on a student visa, so otherwise eligible applicants from Equatorial Guinea fall within the published international-student rule. Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee selection.
